About Us

Who We Are

Co-Founded by Zachary Burch and Jordan Garrow, 1776 Construction is the premiere commercial and residential construction company serving the upper valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. After running independent operations for ten years, we decided to join forces and build something bigger and better together in 1776 Construction. Teaming up afforded us the opportunity to conduct major renovations and tackle new construction projects with additional resources that helped grow our capacity and shorten turnaround times. We come from big families and understand the value they have in our lives; it’s why we do this. Being family owned and operated is key, but growing our family by welcoming in our clients is what truly drives us to go above and beyond.

Zachary Burch comes from three generations of carpentry and building. During his high school years he attended Building Trades at Hartford Career and Technology Center earning a degree. From eight years old on Zachary has been mastering his craftsmanship which continues to be his passion to this very day. What sets him aside from other carpenters is a keen eye for perfection and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure every job is done right and up to his high standards.

Jordan Garrow comes from two generations of plumbing, heating, and electrical. During his formative years Jordan actively took classes for drafting and AutoCAD. He continued his education through Stafford Technology with Architectural Engineering and Design earning a degree. Jordan also started working at the young age of ten with his family’s business and wouldn’t have it any other way. He prides himself on shepherding his clients through all of the nuances and details on every job in order to bring every project from an idea in the customer’s head to reality. Communicating with clients every step of the way and understanding exactly what they are looking for is one of his many gifts. His goal is to ensure every customer is extremely satisfied with 1776 Construction from start to finish and bring their dreams to a reality.
